Lois and I made a very wise decision to ask Jim Schleif to assist us through Shorewest Realty to market our house. We thought the market for house sales in South Milwaukee would be weak. Jim correctly informed us that SM was a hot market and we would be able to sell our house in a short time. This proved correct mainly because of Jim's research of the SM housing market and the very detailed analysis of the area our house was located. Our house sold in ONE day! He proved his knowledge and sales expertise by showing us his marketing plan in a very professional portfolio containing many facts and pictures of our house, inside and outside and others of similar value and what they sold for. This information which was put online brought forth over a dozen interested buyers in the first day or two. This caused some interested buyers to bid above our asking price. The accepted offering price was a few thousand dollars above the listing. He also informed us how to best prepare our house before showing it. This was the first time I sold a house. It was a very emotional and stressful time for me because my parents passed away and we were selling the house I grew up in and lived for 23 years. My parents built the house in 1957 and lived there until their deaths in 2016. Jim Schleif made the entire process easy for me. In the first meeting he provided me with feedback on items that needed to be taken care of prior to putting the house on the market. This could have been a very stressful task, however it wasn't because Jim provided contacts and recommendation for every company I need to contact. They all were great to work with. Our experience was excellent ! Jim and team were awesome and made a very quick buying window very smooth for us as we relocated to the area.

Jim did an excellent job guiding us, as first time home-sellers, through the sale of our house. Further, and perhaps most importantly, Jim was instrumental in securing the deal. When the buyers received some bad news about their loan amount, Jim did the legwork to find them a bank offering them a different product, which ultimately allowed them to purchase our house at a time when they thought they needed to back out. Jim also did an expert job getting all necessary quotes for repairs so that we had a second estimate to counter with the buyer in the negotiation process. While Jim did an excellent job as our direct agent, his whole team at Shorewest was very responsive, helpful, professional, prompt, and committed to problem solving to ensure that every steps in the process was handled efficiently.

Jim was phenomenal! Not only is he, and his team, great at listening but also the insight and advice we received was truly invaluable. Rather than your typical agent who simply facilitates or blankly advises of 'new can of paint', Jim was great being able to answer any questions as well as giving insight that was unexpected and highly appreciated.
